The Neuf WiFi community
In order to enable customers to use broadband services while on the move and to benefit from the advantages of a fixed-line contract, the group has created the Neuf WiFi community through partnerships with representative operators.
Initiated in June 2006 at the time of the launch of the first GSM/WiFi telephone service, the Neuf WiFi community is growing continually through new partnerships (SNCF, Café ADAEL, Manche Télécom, FON etc.) and the group's various projects. Neuf Cegetel is taking a major step forward by integrating its Neuf Boxes to the Neuf WiFi community. Neuf Boxes will become WiFi Hotspots.
The recent acquisition of Ozone, initially one of the group's Neuf WiFi community partners, has enabled Neuf Cegetel to build on its expertise in WiFi networks and to give Ozone the means to pursue its business model of developing a pervasive WiFi network in urban areas.
