The Group is gradually extending the scope of its corporate citizen activities. It has been strengthening partnerships in support of solidarity over the past few years.
Neuf Cegetel has made a long-term commitment to the solidarity projects that it supports. The Group puts its core business to work in favour of its partner associations, notably by offering its ISP and telecoms operator services free of charge.
Donation of digital equipment to Africa
Neuf Cegetel supports the humanitarian organisation ARD, involved in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Group supports its digital plan in Kikwit, located 500km from Kinshasa, aimed at providing the region with the means for digital inclusion, in particular via telephone and the internet.
40 tonnes of telecoms equipment unused either because of changes in technology or redundancy were supplied to the association to provide the region with a telecoms and cyberspace network.
Neuf Cegetel partners with Sidaction
Since 2001, Neuf Cegetel has been the telecoms operator for the Sidaction AIDS campaign on television. It handles all the technical and financial aspects of routing viewers’ calls to the "110" donation hotline.
In 2007 Neuf Cegetel has stepped up its partnership by pursuing new initiatives: in particular, it has provided Sidaction with 2 call centers operated by voluntary employees.
Second chance foundation
Neuf Cegetel is a partner of the Fondation de la 2ème Chance (second chance foundation), an organisation which was set up in June 1998 provides people in a highly precarious situations with support for a long-term professional project. The Group thus counts among the 120 private and public companies and financial institutions that finance this project.
Equisphere
Neuf Cegetel is a partner of Equitel, which launched in october 2007 www.equisphere.tv, the only donations site of its kind. Every monday, the portal will be running a video feature on a new non-profit orgnization and allow direct inline donations.

Handicap Zéro association
Since 1999, the Group has supported the “Handicap Zéro” association, which focuses on adapting materials and services for people with invisible disabilities.
Various customer information materials, such as brochures, newsletters and bills, are translated into Braille.
